2nd Metal Gear Survive Beta is Coming Next Week

Konami announced today on the METAL GEAR OFFICAL twitter that another round of the Metal Gear Survive Beta will be happening on February 16th through 18th on PS4, Xbox One, and Steam. The second beta will include 3 missions across 2 maps featuring daily mission for players to earn rewards. Players who participate in the beta will receive bonus items in the full game.

I was able to participate in the 1st wave of the Metal Gear Survive Beta and clocked in about over 20 hours and here are some of my thoughts on it. The gameplay is very similar to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain but with a few added features, for example the ability to craft items to help you battle against hordes of zombies. Yes, zombies in a Metal Gear game. These items could be weapons, barricades, or different gadgets. In order to create these items, you will need to gather resources from the field where your mission takes place. The maps will be familiar to those who played The Phantom Pain but will look a little different. The controls could feel a little unusual from The Phantom Pain because of the new inventory system but won't take long for veterans to master.
Now, the co-op is where I feel this game gives the player a memorable experience, the game supports 4 player co-op and it was really fun being able to hang out and kill zombies with other people. If you are a fan of the zombie killing genre and Metal Gear, I would say give the beta a try.

Metal Gear Survive releases on February 20, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.

How to Unlock the Infinite Rocket Launcher in Resident Evil 2 (1998)

There’s something poetic about turning the tables on zombies with a rocket launcher that never runs out of ammo . In the original Resident Evil 2 for PlayStation, this isn’t just a cheat—it’s a reward for mastering the game’s pacing and precision. 🎮 What You Need to Do To unlock the infinite rocket launcher , here’s your challenge: ✅ Complete Scenario A — either as Leon or Claire ⏱️ Finish the playthrough in under 2 hours and 30 minutes 🏆 Achieve a Rank A or B (saving is allowed but should be minimal) Once you meet these criteria, you’ll find the rocket launcher tucked neatly into the first item box of your next game. And yes, it melts bosses . Just keep in mind: using it in future playthroughs will lower your rank, so if you’re aiming for bragging rights, maybe leave it in the box next time around. 🎥 Need a Walkthrough? If you’re looking for a visual guide to help you nail the speedrun or optimize your inventory management, this video has you covered: Resident Evil 2 Dua...

🚀 Steam Hardware Announcement: A New Chapter in Gaming

After fourteen years of logging into my Steam account, I thought I had seen it all: endless sales, indie gems, and the timeless thrill of classic Valve titles like Counter-Strike 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 . But nothing prepared me for Valve’s latest announcement. Steam isn’t just a storefront anymore—it’s stepping boldly into the realm of hardware, blurring the line between PC and console. What excites me most is how customizable and wireless this new ecosystem feels. For someone who grew up with Steam as a digital library, seeing it evolve into a physical, flexible console-like experience is both surreal and thrilling. 🎮 The New Steam Hardware Lineup Steam Machine Compact gaming PC designed for the living room. Console-like form factor with 4K gaming at 60 FPS . Optimized for SteamOS but remains open for customization. Ships in early 2026 across North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
