Hello everyone! In my recent YouTube Livestream Playthrough, I took on the ultimate challenge of the survival horror classic: Resident Evil 3: Nemesis (1999). One of the greatest secrets hidden within this game is the ability to unlock Infinite Bullets during the main campaign on Hard Mode. [2, 4]
While you can technically buy infinite ammo weapons via The Mercenaries mini-game, a much more rewarding method exists. If you possess the skill to take down Nemesis every time you encounter him during the main story, he will reward your bravery by dropping powerful items. By his seventh defeat, he will give you the holy grail of survival horror: the Infinite Ammo Box. [4, 5, 6, 7]

⚠️ Two Crucial Golden Rules Before You Start
- It MUST be Hard Mode: Nemesis will not drop items if you play on Easy Mode.
- It cannot be your first playthrough: On a fresh, brand-new save file, Nemesis will drop the M4A1 Assault Rifle on his 7th defeat. The Infinite Bullets case will only drop on a Next Game / Restart playthrough using a cleared save file. [4, 5, 9, 10]

- The Reward: Combining Parts A and B constructs the STI EAGLE 6.0, which fires faster and has a high critical-hit headshot rate.

- Encounter Location: Depending on your choices, either inside the Restaurant or the Newspaper Office.
- The Reward: A highly valuable utility case that stores up to 3 First Aid Sprays at once, saving precious inventory slots.
4. M37 Shotgun Parts A
- Encounter Location: Depending on your routing, either the Power Substation or the alleyway leading near the Sales Office.
- The Reward: The first component of a powerful custom shotgun.
5. M37 Shotgun Parts B
- Encounter Location: Inside City Hall (near the clock puzzle area).
- The Reward: Combining Parts A and B rewards you with the Western Custom M37. This lever-action shotgun can chamber shells incredibly fast and wipes out groups of zombies instantly.
6. First Aid Spray Box (Second Drop)
- Encounter Location: Inside the Cable Car / Tram just before it crashes.
- The Reward: A duplicate medical storage box ensuring you have plenty of healing supplies to survive the rest of the nightmare.
7. The Ultimate Prize: Infinite Bullets Box
- Encounter Location: The Raccoon City Clock Tower balcony or courtyard (after Jill rings the clock bell and Carlos prepares the vaccine).

💡 Pro-Tips for Surviving the Grind

- Master the Gunpowder Mixing: Do not waste heavy ammo on generic map zombies. Save your Gunpowder to build massive stacks of Freeze Rounds and Magnum ammo. Freeze Rounds are Nemesis' kryptonite; they completely slow his movement speed down. [2, 9, 12, 13]
- How to Use the Box: The Infinite Bullets case is a one-time consumable item. Once you combine it with a weapon in your inventory, that specific gun gains infinite ammo permanently for the rest of the playthrough.
